Types of cooktops

there are many types of cooktops based on Ease of use, ,cost,Strength, Precision, Safety.thus different options are available

In this article you will know different Types of cooktops. There are four different heating systems:

Types of cooktops

Cooking with an electric hob

Plates with a cast iron system housing an electrical resistance. The heat of the plate is modulated according to the intensity of the electric current. The main advantages of electric hotplates are as follows:
1- Ease of use : With a simple button, the power can be modulated
2- Cost : Cooking system inexpensive to purchase
3- Strength : electric hobs do not fear shocks

Cooking with a gas hob

Easy to use. The plates allow you to visually and instantly control and readjust the cooking temperature with precision.
1- Precision : We can measure the diffusion of heat by adjusting the intensity of the flame.
2- Safety : They are equipped with an automatic shut-off system in the event of the flame being extinguished, called a thermocouple.
3- Cost : inexpensive heating system

Types of cooktops: Mixed cooking

The table is made up of two types of fireplaces: gas fireplaces associated most of the time with electric fireplaces. The best known distribution is 3 gas fireplaces + 1 electric stove. We can nevertheless find nowadays 2 gas burners + 2 induction burners. The main advantages are as follows:
1- Appropriate cooking : the mixed table allows you to choose the plate according to the type of dish.
2- Limitation of the failure : If a gas or electric power supply is cut off, it will be possible to use the other part of the plate.

Cooking with a ceramic hob

The principle of glass-ceramic is as follows: A radiant system (heating by radiation), and / or halogens (heating by successive pulses), heat under a glass plate allowing a rapid rise in temperature. The main advantages of glass-ceramic are as follows:
1- Fireplaces : the halogen fireplace allows a rapid rise in temperature, while the radiators allow a stable temperature.
2- Ease of use : It works with all containers.

Types of cooktops: Induction cooking

Induction is based on the principle of magnetic fields created by a coil supplied by a generator. A metal container placed in this magnetic field is crossed by currents and heats up. Only the container heats, thus allowing heat to be transmitted to its contents. The top of the table stays cool, except under the container by residual heat. The main advantages of the induction hob are as follows:
1- Safety : a non-negligible point the level of safety on the hobs defies all heating systems, only the container heats up, the glass on the hob remains cold. The tables are fitted with residual heat indicators. They are often equipped with an anti-overheating system, anti-overflow, detection of pots and small utensils.
2- Precision : the multi-options allow precise cooking, in fact the simmering option for example makes it possible to keep a dish warm without cooking it further.
3- Speed : The temperature rise is almost instantaneous and very precise. To boil 1L of water, induction is twice as fast as cooking on an electric plate and on a radiant. And one and a half times faster than cooking on gas. Thus resulting in energy savings.
