According to official updates, these customizable motion zones allows you to receive notifications when movement is detected in specific areas, instead of, for example, the entire garden.

The update for modifiable motion zones is completely free and available via an update of your Ring application on your smartphone or tablet. When you update the app, you immediately get the option to set customizable motion zones for each Ring Video doorbell and security camera on batteries.
