This oil-free “oil fryer” or deep fryer uses hot air to cook food just like its expensive counterparts. It has a large 5-liter capacity and does not require any oil.
With this versatile hot-air oven, you can cook a variety of foods, including fried options like potatoes, meat, sausages, and vegetables. Additionally, you can bake hot sandwiches, mini pizzas, and various baked goods, making it a great all-around cooking tool.
One significant benefit of using this method is that food is usually cooked faster compared to a conventional oven, and cleaning up afterward is also much simpler.
The hot air oven has a standard design consisting of a housing, a pot, and a grid. It is operated using two rotary knobs, one for adjusting the temperature and the other for setting the duration of the cooking process. The grid and the pot are coated with a non-stick material, making them easy to clean. To correctly position the grid, an arrow indicates the required direction.
The tank has a capacity of 5 litres and measures 20 x 19 cm with a height of 10 cm. It provides ample space for a family of 3-4 members, depending on what is being prepared. The grill is not placed at the bottom, allowing hot air to circulate better. Additionally, any spills will not affect the food being cooked. Although the screws do their job, was there no other way to secure it?
Store-bought (pre-fried) potatoes
One of its most common areas of use is potatoes, from which store-bought ones are prepared the fastest, since you have to sprinkle them in, then approx. 15-20 minutes, and it’s done. Anyway, the advantage is speed; it typically takes much longer to bake anything in the oven.
A big advantage is that you can get fries that are not brutally oily, which is approx. It means 2.5 grams of oil / 100 grams of potatoes, so even with 30 deka, we only take in 7.5 grams of fat, which is a much friendlier amount than if it were fried in oil.
It was cooked perfectly well – of course, it is not evenly browned everywhere, but that is typical of hot air ovens anyway. But that doesn’t make any of them raw.
In the case of a large quantity, it happens that the lower layers do not cook through properly. In such cases, it is worth changing the temperature, and time or turning it over halfway through.
Raw potatoes can also be fried with it, but the flavor of the oil is lost and it is not so good, but this can be helped with an oil spray, which is still much less oil.
In such cases, it is worth setting it to a lower power because some parts are already brown in some parts, and in others, they are still half-baked.
Other potatoes, onions, vegetables
Other types of potatoes, vegetables, onion rings, etc., can be baked without problems.
Meat, sausage and the like
Sausages can be fried very quickly with it, and its great advantage is that it cooks well on the top, bottom, and sides. The thinner sausages are cooked in 4-5 minutes.
Cookies, bakery products, even frozen
If someone would like some fresh cookies or bakery products, they don’t even have to prepare them because they can be bought frozen and are always at hand, fresh.
Fried and semi-prepared foods
You can buy a lot of ready-made goodness with breadcrumbs, and some fur (or without), which you can bake with.
It is very easy to clean, thanks to the non-stick coating. In general, this means that any crumbs must be poured out and wiped with a paper towel.
This hot air fryer is both affordable and has a high capacity. Despite its low cost, it performs exceptionally well.
This product boasts a generous 5-liter capacity, making it a great choice for those who need to cook larger quantities of food. The ample size also allows for bigger items, such as potatoes or meats, to be cooked with ease. It’s versatile enough to handle all sorts of treats, from hot sandwiches and pizza to baked goods.
That’s why it’s not digital, but that doesn’t pose any problems, and even though the handle’s attachment to the pot is ugly, it can still be recommended.
