The bottom turns out to be the standard among vacuum-floor mopping robots. Here you can see the powerful wheels for moving across carpets and small steps, as well as the mopping container and wiper blade. The whole apparatus can be removed and replaced. The wiping function fulfills its purpose and even coarser dirt is actively removed with the OZMO Pro. You can see the mopping plate literally rubbing against the floor . Of course, you cannot remove emptied potting soil with the mopping robot, but every mopping robot reaches its limits here. The potting soil would simply be spread around the room. The water tank is filled up in a few simple steps; the top of the dust container can also be quickly removed and emptied.

If you want to use the app more actively, you can also benefit from advanced settings, in which you can specify a different suction force for the AIVI robot or give the OZMO Pro a different scrubbing pattern . The conclusion to the Ecovacs DEEBOT OZMO T8 AIVI
In fact, the OZMO T8 AIVI is the best vacuum / mopping robot that we have tested so far. Its full length is convincing and its two functions, wiping and vacuuming, make it the perfect all-rounder . It can handle both types of cleaning like a true premium model and leaves its owner more time for other important household items. We see the AIVI robot as best in class , but would also like to point out the comparatively high price that the device brings with it. Around 780 euros must be budgeted for this. The improved AIVI technology, the built-in sensors and the active wiping function, which is still rarely found in wiping robots, make the DEEBOT a top model; thus the T8 AIVI easily outperforms other cheaper models.
The detection of objects worked extremely well in our test. Large tangles of cables or flat objects that were difficult to recognize on the floor were also quickly discovered and avoided. Of course, a mark is left on the virtual map at this point to visualize that an object has been discovered here that prevents cleaning. Nevertheless, the robot continues to clean and does its job satisfactorily. The cleaning results for both vacuuming and wiping are exceptionally good. The only drawback: the app; this could be designed a bit more intuitive and beautiful. On the whole, however, the robot was able to convince us.
We would also have liked to test the suction station of the OZMO T8 AIVI . So you don’t have to empty the dust container so often. However, this is already larger than with many other vacuum robots, so you can get along well without a suction station. In addition, you have to run to the robot vacuum every time to fill up the water tank, then you can quickly remove the dust container under the head plate and empty it – it’s quick and easy.
